Beierle Making 1,200cc Mini Sprint Debut at Tulsa Shootout This Week
Inside Line Promotions – BISMARCK, N.D. (Dec. 30, 2014) – Andee Beierle is en route to the 30th annual Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout.
Beierle will compete for Spiker Racing Products in the 1,200cc mini sprint class at the premier micro sprint event inside the River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, Okla., this Wednesday through Saturday.
It will mark her second time racing at the Tulsa Shootout and first time in the class.
“I raced a 750 for a year or two when I used to race mini sprints,” she said. “It’s exciting. I want to be competitive and to have a good time.”
This week will also allow Beierle to get used to the quarter-mile track, where she will compete in approximately two weeks when she races in the Chili Bowl.
“It will help to get more seat time to get ready for Chili Bowl,” she said. “The Shootout and the Chili Bowl are two very different events, but it will be good to get as many laps on that track as I can.”
The only other time Beierle competed in the Tulsa Shootout was in 2012.
“It will be great to get back there,” she said. “I can’t wait to try out the mini sprint for Spiker Racing Products. Hopefully we will learn quickly and can put together consistent laps.”
