It's A 'Freaky Fast', Friday the 13th Kind of Night this Week at Ohio Valley Speedway
Driver Appreciation Night, Kids Costume Contest and Trunk or Treat Thru Pits Highlight Night
After a week off, the Ohio Valley Speedway will roar back to life this Friday Night, August 13th for a very Friday the 13th like SpookTRACKular night of action packed racing. A full slate of festivities will welcome back eager race fans and drivers as we head down the homestretch of the 2021 season. We will welcome the areas best regional racers for a special ‘Driver Appreciation Night’ which will feature the division with the MOST entries racing for a $2,000 to win purse, 2nd most will run for double start pay and the division with the 3rd most cars will run their feature first.
Plus as we celebrate Friday the 13th at the ‘Valley’ we invite the Kids to dress up in their favorite Halloween Costume as we host a KIDS Costume Contest along with a Kids Trunk or Treat thru the Pit Area. So drivers be sure to stock up on some candy as we bring some ghosts and goblins around the pit area at intermission.
It will be a ‘Double Dose’ of Late Model action as the Steel Block Late Models join the card for their second appearance of the season along with the Las Trancas Super Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Pike Street Lanes Sportmods, Bill’s Auto Salvage 4 Cylinders and Mike’s Auto Body WRA Mini Wedges.
You’ll want to make the Ohio Valley Speedway your Friday Night home for the rest of August as next Friday Night, August 20th we present the ‘Race for the Hat’ and the 3rd Annual Keith Barker Memorial followed up with the August 27th Hillbilly Qualifiers in all classes.
Gates will open at 4pm, with Mini Wedges getting started at 6pm, Drivers Meeting 6:30pm and Hotlap/Qualifying getting underway at 7:00pm. General Admission is $15 with kids 10 and under FREE and Pit Prices $30.
