$1000 to win Midwest Late Models added to July 16 Sign Masters Night
Park Jefferson Speedway is excited to announce that the Midwest Late Models based out of Sioux Falls will be added to the Sign Masters night on July 16 for an exciting 6 division weekend. The Midwest Late Models sponsored by Badlands Speedway are a newly formed group that was formed to answer the call for super late model racing in South Dakota. The Midwest Late Models rules package allows for drivers in crate late models, WISSOTA late models, and NASCAR Grand Nationals and Late Models to compete on an equal playing field. All five IMCA classes will also be in action headlined by the Modified Fast Shaft qualifier.
While the purse is still being finalized, the race will pay $1,000 to win and $200 to start the A Main. "We are excited as this gives a lot of cars from Norfolk as well as Huron a chance to come to Park Jefferson on a week that Off Road Speedway and Dakota State Fair Speedway are not running late models" state GM Rod Olson.
With the addition of the Midwest Late Models sponsorsed by Badlands Speedway to the IMCA Fast Sharfts qualifier for Modifieds, this weekend should be a great weekend to head out to Park Jefferson. The best part is tickets will remain at just $10 for adults and $1 for seniors and children 6-16. Pit passes will be just $25 for the weekend.
