Jason Martin #36 Places 4th at Park Jefferson Speedway

Jefferson, South Dakota, 4/25/2017 – .
BM Motorsports raced Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Park Jefferson International Speedway in Jefferson, SD. Their intentions were to go to Wichita, Kansas, for the rain make-up race in the Air Capitol Shootout but was cancelled due to the upcoming rain for the weekend. The team decided to travel up north to South Dakota to race in the Nebraska 360 Sprint Series.
With an outside front row starting spot, Martin checked out in the heat race to get the win! The team was lucky enough to redraw the outside front row starting spot for the feature. The clean air was in Martin’s favor for half of the race, but once he got into heavy lap traffic, the car just got too tight and Martin began to struggle maneuvering through slower cars. After leading the first 12 laps, Martin ended up finishing 4th. “We feel like we have a very fast race car and we’re capable of winning races but we just missed it a tiny bit tonight”, Martin said.
It was a solid performance for the team. “We’ll make some changes to the race car and make it a little bit more forgiving for me to be able to position it where I need to”, Martin said.
