Port City Raceway
Flud Goes Three-for-Three, Mahaffey and Carroll Sweep while Scheulen Scores During the Finale of the Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial
TULSA, Okla. (June 30, 2018) - Frank Flud went three-for-three claiming the Winged A-Class, Stock Non-Wing and Winged Outlaw victories, Shawn Mahaffey swept the Restricted 'A' Class, Kris Carroll swept the Sportsman and Parker Scheulen scored the Junior Sprint victory during the finale of the 7th Annual Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial at Port City Raceway on Saturday night.
122 entries spread across six classes during the Saturday night portion of the DRC Memorial at the high banked 1/8 mile.
POWRi Outlaw
In the POWRi Outlaw division, Frank Flud, Kevin Bayer and Brock Berreth entertained the crowd swapping the lead early in the 55-lap feature event, but it was all Frank Flud at the end. Kevin Bayer crossed in the second spot with Brock Berreth ending up third. Gage Robb finished in the fourth spot with Shawn Wicker fifth.
Matt Carr sixth, seventh went to Kaylee Bryson. Cole Roberts finished in the eighth spot with Dalton Brown ninth and Jase Randolph tenth.
Jesse Frazier, Holden Anderson and Bryson claimed the nights three heat race victories. Roberts won the nights lone B-Main.
POWRi Sportsman
Kris Carroll ended his Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial with a clean sweep in the POWRi Sportsman division. Carroll lead all 20-laps to claim the win. Jeremy Wickham was the runner up. Ryan Cody third, Bobby McIntosh fourth with Dave Nicholson fifth.
Randy Myers was sixth. Logan Hill seventh. Eighth went to Matt Cash. Jonathan Forsythe and Cory Reed brought up the top ten.
Cash and Bobby McIntosh were the nights heat race victors.
POWRi Non-Wing
Frank Flud lead all 20-laps in the POWRi Non-Wing DRC Memorial Feature on Saturday night. Flud who won on Friday night earned the pole of Saturday nights finale and went on to claim the victory. Kevin Bayer was the runner up. Jake Nail third. Chris Cochran finished fourth with Jase Randolph fifth.
Darien Roberts claimed the sixth spot. Curtis Jones, Issac Barr, Ronnie James and Avery Goodman were the rest of the top ten.
Cochran, Jerry McGinnis and Jones were the nights three heat race winners. Goodman won the B-Main.
POWRi Restricted
After winning on Friday night, Shawn Mahaffey earned the pole of the POWRi Restricted A-Feature on Saturday night. Shawn lead all 20-laps having to hold off Brody McLaughlin and Elizabeth Phillips. McLaughlin ended up in second. Glenn James Bratti took the final spot on the podium. Kaden Smith finished fourth with Jase Mosley fifth.
Joshua Gentry sixth. Aubrey Sappinton seventh. Dooley Harris eighth. After a hard crash on the back stretch, Elizabeth Phillips claimed the ninth spot and Ryan Cotney tenth.
Mosley and Gentry took home the heat race wins.
POWRi A-Class
Frank Flud pulled off the trifecta during the 7th Annual Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial on Saturday leading all 20-laps in the POWRi A-Class division. Gage Robb crossed in the second spot. Daison Pursley finished in the third spot with Brad Best finishing in fourth. Kaylee Bryson rounded out the top five.
Jake Nail crossed in sixth, Seventh went to Ryan Mushrush with Layden Pearson eighth. Blake Battles ninth and Kayla Ward tenth.
Best, Hunter Little and Ward each earned heat wins with Spencer Mason claiming the B-Main.
POWRi Junior Sprints
Parker Scheulen was victorious in the POWRi Junior Sprint division. Parker started sixth and took the lead on lap 11. Cooper Miller finished in the second spot. Brody McClelland third with Hayden Mabe fourth and Freddy Rowland finished up the top five.
Bryson Mosley crossed in the sixth spot. Karson Wittwer seventh. Jackson Beers was eighth. Cale McGee ninth and Sawyer Beers rounded out the top ten.
Brody McClelland won the nights 8-lap heat race.

NEXT UP is a Sunday Night Showdown as we will be hosting the third night of the Stars and Stripes Shootout for the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Micro Series on Sunday, July 8. It will also be a points race for the Junior Sprints, Sportsman and Outlaw classes. Racing will start at 6pm.
There will NOT be any racing at Port City on Saturday, July 7.
