Applications Now Being Accepted for 2019 Miss Ransomville
RANSOMVILLE, NY (October 31, 2018) As plans continue to come into place for the 2019 racing season at the Ransomville Speedway, speedway management is beginning their search for the next Miss Ransomville. Applicants can ask for an application via email at raceransomville@gmail.com message the Ransomville Speedway Facebook page, or call the Ransomville Speedway office at (716) 791-3602.
2018 Miss Ransomville Mariah Reilly, and 2017 Miss Ransomville Emily Buzzard are encouraging anyone who is thinking about applying, to just go ahead and apply. “I was speechless and filled with happiness when I was crowned Miss Ransomville”, says 2018 Miss Ransomville Mariah Reilly. “I wanted to be more involved with dirt racing as I grew up going to asphalt races” Mariah added. 2017 Miss Ransomville Emily Buzzard, like Mariah was also filled with excitement. “I was grateful that I was given the opportunity to represent the track. I couldn’t wait for the season to start!”
Both Emily and Mariah cannot thank their family enough for encouraging them to apply and cannot thank the Ransomville family for supporting them as well. Emily and Mariah also would like to give a little advice to whoever is crowned 2019 Miss Ransomville.
“If being Miss Ransomville is something that you are thinking about, go for it!”, Emily says. “You never know until you apply. Being Miss Ransomville is a great way to make friends, build confidence, and spread the racing spirit with the fans. It will be a summer you will never forget!” “I hope you love being Miss Ransomville as much as I did. Attend the Bailey Brothers Kids Club activities each week and get to know everyone at Ransomville because they’re all truly amazing. Always smile and have fun. When throwing t-shirts and other prizes into the crowd, always throw underhand! The most important advice is to enjoy the time you get as Miss Ransomville because it flies by!”, Mariah said.
The crowning of Miss Ransomville will take place during the annual car show in the Spring.
