RYAN PLANTE - BACK TO BACK TITLES IN THE SUNFLOWERS OF SANBORN MINI STOCKS
Ryan Plante of Ransomville, NY picked up his second career championship aboard the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks. Ryan was a feature winner twice at Ransomville Speedway in 2024 and enjoyed nine top ten finishes aiding him in his quest for the title. Ryan, 35 years old, has been a regular at Ransomville for 17 years, in which he has 16 career feature victories. His first title came in 2023 also making him a back-to-back champion.
“The division is tough when it comes to winning a feature,” said Plante of the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks. Plante is right, four different drivers were able to stop in victory lane in the 2024 season. Plante admits that he’s thought about moving up a class, but looks at the cost of racing, keeping him in the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks. Away from the racetrack, Ryan makes a living as a Public Insurance adjuster, handling house and business fires and natural disasters.
