Red Cedar Speedway
Jensen, Redetzke, Richardson and Hanson Headline Red Cedar Winners
After a few weeks of Mother Nature winning the races the Red Cedar Speedway was finally back in action.
Jason Richardson was on mission Friday night Richardson took off from his front row spot and shot into the lead. Richardson fought of numerous challenges from Shane Halopka but he would not be denied as he drove off to the win followed by Halopka, Cole Chernosky, Kennedy Swan and Ben Hillman.
Kolby Kiehl lead The field to green and took off into the lead to start the race. It wasn’t long and Jesse Redetzke There to challenge, Jesse moved to the inside of Kiehl and took the lead. Redetzke Would lead for several laps as Terran Spacek began to close. Spacek would look high and would look low and even pull alongside of Redetzke, but could never get by. As the two continued to battle, Kiehl began to close, Kiehl would also look for the lead, but unfortunately, a caution would come out. On the restart Spacek would shoot to the outside of Redetzke Almost taking a lead, but Jesse would not be denied and took home. The win followed by Kiehl, Spacek, Curt Myers and Cole Chernosky.
The Midwest Mods had an exciting start to their feature event as many drivers would challenge and take the lead, but Brady Larson would be the first to secure for a long stretch of the event and looked as if he was going to drive off into the sunset but a restart midway through the race would change everything. Brady would change his line a bit on the restart which allowed for a hard charging Brandon Jensen to sweep to the outside of him. Brandon would take the lead and Larson would drop to second Larson settled in and began to close back in Jensen but never had enough to get back by him. Jensen would win the race followed by Larson, Jesse Bryan, Joey Jensen and Shadow Kitchner.
Andrew Hanson who is always up front at the Red Cedar Speedway in his street stock, was the early leader in the main event. Hanson would fight off a strong charge from Kyle Genett to secure the win.
Followed by Dylan Baskin, Gunnar Watkins and Bruce Stanley.
Brandon Gleiter was the early leader in Hornets, Jason Bauer would make a strong run from his 8th starting position but it was not enough as Gleiter would win followed by Bauer, Brian Schott, Jeff Schmitt and Roy Cooper
