Red Cedar Speedway Car Show, This Weekend, March 28th & 29th
The Red Cedar Speedway Car Show & Expo is set to take place this weekend, March 28th and 29th, at the Fanetti Community Center. This annual event promises a fun-filled experience for racing enthusiasts, families, and community members alike, featuring race cars, delicious food, music, kids' activities, vendors, and more.
Festivities kick off on Friday, March 28th, at 5 pm. The evening will feature a bean bag tournament at 6 pm, a Texas Hold’em poker tournament at 6:30 pm, and music from a DJ beginning at 6 pm.
Saturday, March 29th, the event opens at 9 am with a swap meet running until noon. A Euchre tournament will start at noon, offering a great opportunity for card game lovers to join in the fun. From 1 pm to 3 pm, children can meet the Easter Bunny, making for a memorable family-friendly experience. The highlight of the evening will be the 2024 season awards ceremony at 6 pm, followed by more music from the DJ.
A special food menu will be available on Saturday, catered by Carey Davis. Attendees can enjoy a choice of a quarter chicken or pork steak, served with beans and potatoes, for just $12.
Vendors such as Velocita-USA and JC's Race Parts will be there all weekend for all of your race parts, helmet, and race suit needs.
For families with young race fans, the Red Cedar Speedway Kids Club offers plenty of engaging activities throughout the weekend. The first 40 kids to sign up for the Kids Club at the Car Show will receive a special prize. Kids can also enjoy a bounce house and various games all weekend. Additionally, Kids Club members will have the chance to win a youth dirt bike at the end of the season, sponsored by G2G Powersports.
