TULSA, Okla. (August 9, 2014) - The Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real returns to competition on Saturday, August 16 at the Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Okla.

After two weeks in Iowa competing in the 360 Nationals, Front Row Challenge, and Knoxville Nationals, crews will return their focus on the season championship as Brad Loyet carries the field into the Saturday spectacle that has been dubbed the "Oklahoma Open Wheel Thunder Nationals" with the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real joined by the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region along with the Oil Capital Racing Series (OCRS) and Open Wheel Midgets.
