Lacy And Witwell Repeat, Super Stock and B Mod See New Winners

The second night of racing at the Highbanks did not disappoint as all class had great battles in each of their receptive races. RC Witwell held off hard chargers Wolff and Tillison as a three wide battle raged for the better part of the late laps. Witwell was able to lead every lap and hold on to win back to back and made it his second of the season.

Cody Jolly out of Jasper, MO. was able to take the B Modified win from the sixth starting position. Jolly took command of the feature on the 5th lap from Austin Fullerton and did not look back. This I believe is Jolly's first career win at the Highbanks.

Dale Richardson was able to put his Super Stock back into victory lane at Salina this pasted weekend picking up his first win off the 2017 season. Richardson made it clear that he was looking for win right from the start. Several cautions during the race kept things tight between Richardson and Metcalf as the laps ran down and lead to a good battle between the two as the checkers fell.

Brennon Lacy was able once again to start deep in a field of tough Pure Stock and rise to the top making it a back to back win and the second of season. This should give a good jump in the national points when they are posted as he continues his pursuit for the Division IV National Title.

This coming weekend we will have another great Whelen All American Series NASCAR Points race along with Kids bicycle races. Kids come early as we will have compositions before the races at 6 PM. Gates will open at 5 pm and races will start at 7 pm. Adult tickets are $10, Kids 7-12 are $5 and 6 and under are free.
