OCRS Sprint Cars, Modified Summertime Shootout headline June 24th blockbuster
The AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories OCRS Sprint Cars will invade the Salina Highbanks Speedway, Saturday, June 24th for their first of two visits during the 2017 campaign. In addition to exciting open-wheel Sprint Car action, fans will be treated to the AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories Modified Summertime Shootout presented by United Sports & Autos.
The Modified Summertime Shootout portion of the event will pay $1,000 to win, $120 to start with added money going to the top five finishers. Additionally, drivers who compete in Humboldt Speedway’s $2,000 to win Modified Shootout the previous night will have a chance at the “Bottom Four Bonus” if their weekend does not go quite as planned. Four drivers with the worst average finish between Humboldt Speedway and Salina Highbanks Speedway will receive $100 each. Out-Pace Racing Products will award the Hard Charger with $100 of a car kit (link rods, pull bar, j-bar, and tie rods), and Modified teams will compete in the Pit Crew Challenge for a chance to win an aluminum racing jack.

Adult General Admission is $15, Seniors get in for $10, and Kids are $5. Fans wishing to enjoy racing from the comfort of the Finish Line Bar & Grill can do so for just $25. Pit Passes are $35 (drivers and crewmembers with a NASCAR license will be given a $5 discount).
Pit gates open at 3, grandstands open at 5, and racing begins at 7 with Pure Stocks, Super Stocks, and B-Mods also racing for NWAAS points.

Having been involved in racing and building race components for over 20 years, Out-Pace has developed a solution for the problem of sticky and seized rod ends. Their innovative, patented system reduces the time it takes to maintain your rod end components, along with a host of other benefits.
The time it takes to clean and re-grease rod ends has been reduced from hours to minutes by the Out-Pace system. The Out-Pace system works by greasing the rod end from the inside out. Grease is forced through an orifice that runs through the rod end and around the spherical ball. The grease then flushes any dirt or contaminants out of the rod end that may have worked its way inside the assembly. Thus the rod end has been flushed of any dirt, and new grease is in place for lubrication. There is no more need to remove the rod ends, clean with solvent, reassemble, lubricate and remount on the car. This entire procedure has been reduced to seconds.
