Salina Highbanks Speedway
B-Mod Bedlam to commence April 5-7; entries still welcome
The Inaugural B-Mod Bedlam rescheduled to April 5th – 7th is on as planned at Salina Highbanks Speedway. 51 competitors have pre-entered for the inaugural event with more expected to attend once race day arrives. Drivers can still pre-enter or enter on race day for an entry fee of just $125. The $5,000 to win B-Mod A-Main on Saturday will pay a minimum of $400 to start, plus drivers have the opportunity to race on Friday in the ARMI B-Mod Duels for $500 to win, $60 to start.
On Thursday practice will be held from 6pm-9pm. The pit gates open at 3pm on Friday and Saturday while the grandstand gates open at 5pm. Racing begins at 7:30pm on Friday and 7pm on Saturday with the draw cutoff and drivers meeting scheduled for 45 minutes prior to race time each day. Pre-tech is also open at 11am on Friday and Saturday. The Finish Line Restaurant and Bar kitchen will stay open one hour past the final checkered flag each night.
Pure Stocks and Super Stocks open their NASCAR points season on Friday night. The Modifieds will race Saturday, also for NASCAR points with an added payout of $1,500 to win, $150 to start. Grandstand prices are $10 for adults on Friday with kids (ages 6-12) $5, and kids 5 and under free. Saturday is $20 for adults, $17 for seniors (62 and up), kids (6-12) $5, and kids 5 and under once again free. VIP passes are $20 and $30 on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Pit passes are $20 on Thursday, $30 on Friday, and $40 on Saturday. For those who cannot attend the weekend’s festivities in person RacinDirt.com will carry a live PPV broadcast.
