Clanton snags runner-up finish at Tri-County Racetrack

Shane Clanton returned behind the wheel of his Skyline Motorsports No. 25 Late Model entry on Thursday evening at Senoia (GA) Raceway for the DirtonDirt.com Shootout. With the top six qualifiers getting locked into the Dash, Clanton secured the pole position with the fastest time overall. After the pair exchanged sliders late, Shane scored a runner-up finish behind Michael Page. Starting the $4,000-to-win A-Main in second, Page shot out to an early race lead but a caution on lap 24 realigned the field. Unable to gain any momentum, Clanton scored a second place finish behind Michael Page with Kyle Bronson, Brandon Overton, and Dalton Cook rounding out the Top-5.
