Top-10 finish in Peach State Classic prelim

Ross Bailes was one of 63 Late Models entered at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) on Friday afternoon to bring the inaugural Peach State Classic to life. Following the eighth-fastest time in his group, Bailes posted a third-place finish in his heat race. On Saturday, Ross came in fourth-fastest in his group before placing third in his heat race. Earning the 14th-starting position for the $52,052-to-win Peach State Classic, Bailes carried a steady pace throughout the 75-lap affair to finish 14th.
