Kolby Vandenbergh scores fifth-place finish in MARS finale at Spoon River

After Mother Nature stole Friday’s event midway through the program, Kolby Vandenbergh returned to Spoon River Speedway (Banner, Ill.) on Saturday evening for the MARS Racing Series season finale. With preliminary events lining him up ninth on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Kolby gained four spots in the 40-lapper to register a fifth-place finish.
