Banks, Oregon- In 2015 Budweiser has stepped up and will sponsor the Sunset Speedway Park IMCA Modifieds. The Mods are one of the most popular classes that the “Banks Bullring” has to offer and is sure to thrill fans with exciting action all season long. In addition to the class sponsorship the weekly purse money has increased.
“We're just happy to support grassroots racing,” commented Troy Teach, Sales Director of Maletis Beverage, “we can't wait for the beginning of this upcoming season to see some great racing.”
If there is twenty-five cars or less it is $650.00 to win and $125.00 to start. If there is twenty-six cars or more it will remain $650.00 but will be $150.00 to start. A full breakdown of the payout can be found below this story.
This is a wonderful step in right direction for IMCA Modified racing in the Pacific Northwest and will no doubt bring some of the top drivers of the states of Oregon and Washington to Sunset Speedway Park. The first scheduled race for the IMCA Modifieds at SSP is on Saturday April 18th.
The Budweiser IMCA Modifieds are scheduled for sixteen races in 2015. For the latest news and information log on to www.sunsetspeedwaypark.com. Also check out our Facebook page and click “Like”.
