Banks, Oregon- Arnie Case has put up some pretty amazing performances in 2015. The Vancouver, Washington driver's goal this year was to just shake down his old Street Stock that he used to race at Portland in the 1990's for his son Justen. In just a handful of starts he has won twice at Sunset Speedway Park and will look to win the Saturday July 11th Jim's Thriftway Open Street Stock National 100.
“I was just going into the season to shake it down for my son,” stated Case, “the first night out we broke the transmission but next couple of race we ended up winning.”
Case is currently tied for second on the win list in 2015 with Tony Catalano with their pair of victories at the “Banks Bullring”. Keep an eye out for the Coast Aluminum/Big Sky Landscaping/Challenge Fitness by Mike Case/About Town Locksmith/Ernest Racing #18C Camaro.
“I'm really looking forward to the Jim's 100 this weekend,” Arnie continued, “this is my first one-hundred lap race I've entered our goal is to finish and maintain positions and don't overwork the tires.”
Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:30 each night.
