Banks, Oregon- Aloha's Doug Lockwood is excited for the upcoming Dancin Bare Topless Modified 100 at Sunset Speedway Park on Saturday July 18th. Lockwood has every right to be, he is the defending winner of the race. He will look to collect another $1,000.00 check and become the first repeat winner in the premier event's history in his Jackson Industries/Walters Racing/Frickentool.com/Warpaint Motorsports Graphix #66 Shaw.
“At the start of the year I struggled a bit with some of the gremlins,” commented Lockwood, “once we got past the bad luck and were able to dial in our set up we are headed in the right direction.”
Doug is currently second in points at Sunset Speedway Park where he won the title last season. He has six top fives in ten starts and managed to post a victory on May 30th. He will look to capture that elusive second triumph this Saturday.
“I definitely want to win again,” he would continue to say, “I recently tried some stuff to where we should be back in the game.”
