Northwest Extreme Late Model Series Visits SSP On July 25th

Banks, Oregon- The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series is ready to get back to racing after taking a week off. They will visit Sunset Speedway Park on Saturday July 25th. The series will be spending a lot of time at the “Banks Bullring” as their next three races are scheduled at the 1/4-mile clay oval.
The 2015 season for the tour has been a great one with six different winners in ten events. Four drivers are tied for most victories in the current campaign. Joey Tanner, Dave Walters, Greg Walters, and Jesse Williamson have all managed to achieve two wins each. Drivers with one triumph include Preston Luckman and Jason Johnson.
Sunset is the most visited track for the NELMS Series with a total of thirty-one visits since 2010. Of those thirty-one visits the tour has been on hand Greg Walters has won by far the most, visiting victory lane twenty-one times including the last two. Collen Winebarger has three wins while drivers with just one include Terry Ferrando, Jerry Schram, Russ Sell, Billy Workman Jr., Dave Walters, Jason Johnson, and Joey Tanner.
Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:30 each night. Tickets for both events are Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
