Banks, Oregon – Exciting news for the Sunset Speedway IMCA Modified class for the 2016 season. Budweiser has stepped up to sponsor the IMCA Modifieds once again this year. The Modifieds are one of the most popular classes not only Sunset Speedway, but all over the United States. They bring edge of your seat action all season long.
With Budweiser sponsoring the IMCA Modified class again, this sponsorship will bring the higher weekly payout like last year. If there are twenty-five or less it will be $650.00 to win and $125.00 to start. If there are twenty-six or more it will remain $650.00 to win but the back end will be $150 to start. A full breakdown of the payout is below.
Once again, this will be a great perk and bring some of the top drivers of Oregon and Washington states to Sunset Speedway Park. in the 2015 season, Sunset Speedway saw some of the highest cars counts in years, with the Budwesier IMCA Modified division having B-Mains almost every race. The first scheduled race for the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds will be April 23rd on the 30th Anniversary Season Opener.
The Budweiser IMCA Modifieds are scheduled for sixteen races in 2016 at SSP, with one of the specialty races being a double header in one night. Schram Brothers Excavating presents the Budweiser IMCA Modified Twin 50 – Double Pay/Double Points in one night on August 6th.
