Hodnett Foundation Race Moved to September 16
The BAPS Motor Speedway management team has decided to move this year’s Greg Hodnett Foundation race to September.
Hodnett was scheduled to be enshrined into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 2020, but the ceremony was postponed to June 5 of this year, which is the same weekend as the event at BAPS Motor Speedway.
In observance of Hodnett’s induction, officials at the speedway made the decision to move the Foundation race to September 16 and make it part of a series of races at local speedways over the month-long period. The Greg Foundation Race will be sponsored by Drydene and also be a Dirt Classic Qualifier.
The 410 Sprint Car division will still highlight the June 3 date, which will be dubbed Thursday Night Thunder. The Super Sportsman will also be on the program.
