BAPS Institutes Friendly Neighbor Program for 2022

YORK HAVEN, Pa.: Giving back to the community and race fans has always been a priority for the BAPS Motor Speedway management team.

In continuing that tradition, Scott Gobrecht and Kolten Gouse are bringing back the “Friendly Neighbor Program,” which allows people from the surrounding community to get into the racetrack for free on race night.

To qualify, residents must live within .5 miles or less from the speedway. Once verified by Google Maps, you will receive a card that must be presented at each racing event. A valid driver’s license or state identification must also be presented.

“We look forward to continuing this program,” General Manager Kolten Gouse said. “It’s important for us to be involved with the surrounding community and give back as a thank you for their support.

“There are many factors that go into the success of the speedway, and that includes being involved with the community and making them feel welcome. This is another way to accomplish that.”

To apply for the “Friendly Neighbor Program” just come to the speedway office during normal business hours. We are open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Hours are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The program is limited to three people per household. Entries must be completed during the week and will not be accepted on race days. The “Friendly Neighbor Program” is good for general admission grandstands only.
