Modifieds to Join 2023 Season Opener at BAPS Motor Speedway
YORK HAVEN, Pa.: Trying new things to keep the fan interest going has been a focal point for the management team at BAPS Motor Speedway.
That will continue in 2023 with the announcement that the 358 Modifieds are being added to the season opener. It will take place on Saturday, March 18.
The program also keeps with the tradition at the speedway. Along with the 358 Modifieds, the Super Sportsman and Gene Latta Ford Central Pa. Legends will also be on the card.
“The Modifieds are one of the most popular divisions on the East Coast,” said Kolten Gouse, General Manager at the speedway. “We've had a great response from the division and fans, and we are excited to have the Modifieds be a part of our opener.
“We started working on our schedule for next season. Bringing the Modifieds in the early part of the season opens the door for more races throughout the season.”
The pit gates for this event will open at 1 p.m. The grandstands open at 2 p.m., with racing slated to begin at 4 p.m.
