R.J. Johnson Bets Right at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway
Bryan Hulbert - SHOW LOW, Ariz. (June 17, 2023) Getting his 19th career win with the ASCS CAS Non-Wing Series this past Saturday night, R.J. Johnson parked the Pecon Builders No. 51 in Victory Lane at the Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway.
Getting to the lead on Lap 4 after from the sixth starting spot, R.J. led the way from there, and gapped the field by 3.479-seconds. Ronald Webster moved to second on the closing lap over AJ Hernandez by 0.162-seconds. Jim Vanzant and Austin Ervine made up the top five.
The 2023 season will mark the 32nd year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
