That's a Wrap ~ 2015 Season Ends
The 5th Annual Battle By the Bay is successfully in the books and that wraps up our car racing season for the year. I would like to personally thank all 131 competitors that came out to compete over the weekend. The show went very smooth and the racing was the best I’ve seen all year. Friday started out with the wicked fast Outlaw Late Models and the “King of the Wing” David Hilliker picking up the win. We had some first time winners at TCMS Saturday with Brandon Thirlby in the Late Models just edging out former Champion Zack Olger. The Pro Stocks saw Josh Loomis take home his first TCMS checkered flag after a caution free race and in the Bomber Stocks young Dale Kaake III was awarded with the big check. No stranger to victory lane in the IMCA Modifieds was Myron DeYoung and Eric Lake in the Street Stocks.
Another round of congratulations goes out to our 2015 Season Champions. These drivers have earned every bit of praise that comes with a championship, after coming out on top at the end of the season. In the Late Models David Hilliker picked the title, the IMCA Modifieds crowned Myron DeYoung, the Pro Stocks goes to Steven Hilliker for his back to back championship, the Street Stocks found Dave Newcomb picking up another dirt championship and the Bomber Stocks title goes out to Jack Freese.
Over the regular season we had 260 different competitors and I appreciate each and every one of them, whether they only made it once or didn’t miss a week. We are already gearing up for the 2016 season and look forward to hearing the engines roaring again April 22nd 2016.
