Knight records a trio of seventh-place finishes

Taking part in a three-race weekend with the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals, Cla Knight entered his M&W Transport No. 42 Late Model into battle on Thursday evening at Tri-County Raceway (Brasstown, N.C.). With his qualifying effort placing him on the fifth row for the opening night feature, Cla jumped up two spots in the 40-lapper to place seventh. (H3 Photography)

On Friday night at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tenn.) for another $4,053-to-win A-Main, Knight followed up the eighth-fastest qualifying lap with a seventh-place finish in the feature.

For the weekend finale on Saturday at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tenn.), Cla edged his way into the A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat. With $10,053 on the line, Knight gained four spots in the 53-lap affair to finish seventh.
