30th Annual Topless 50 Rescheduled to Sunday, May 26th
In light of the concerning weather forecast predicting a 70-90% chance of rain from all weather outlets on Saturday, the Tyler County Speedway announces the postponement of the highly anticipated 30th Annual Topless 50 presented by Pioneer Family Pre-Owned Autos of Williamstown event originally slated for May 4th. The ‘fan favorite’ event will now take place on Sunday, May 26th featuring the ULMS Late Model Series along with the companion ‘Topless 30’ for the UMP UEMS Modified Series.
Despite continuous monitoring of weather updates throughout the week, the forecast has remained unfavorable, leaving no room for optimism. John Watson, representing the Hometown Racing Association, expressed, “We’ve been watching the forecast all week and hoping for a change but to no avail. We wanted to make an early decision and save everyone time and money on travel with the extreme likelihood of wet weather and allow our fans and racers the opportunity to make other plans.”
Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 26th, as we celebrate Memorial Weekend at America’s Baddest Bullring with the 2nd Oldest Dirt Late Model Topless event.
In the meantime, join us next Saturday Night, May 11th, as the ‘Bullring’ celebrates ‘Dirt Track Moms Night,’ featuring the Annual Tammy Clegg Tribute for Hotmods.
