Tyler Nelson Racing welcomes the newest Boys & Girls Club to the Kansas City area
Tyler Nelson #88 and Tyler Nelson Racing have been big supporter's of the Boy's & Girls Clubs of Kansas City for a very long time.
As a young man growing up in an "at risk" home, Tyler knows full well the value of working with our youth. As an "Official Spokesperson" and a "Goodwill Ambassador" for the Boys & Girls Clubs, Tyler frequently volunteers is time as a Mentor for the local youth.
As Tyler says, "I can relate to kids who come from at risk and dysfunctional family structures. I relate to kids who don't have enough to eat or struggle with self esteem and learning difficulties." These are the needs that are filled by the Boys & Girls Clubs around the Country. I share my story and tell the kids that if I can overcome the issues in my past, they can too. Just have a dream and work toward it every day."
Yesterday, September 29th, 2015, the ribbon was cut, 5th Kansas City area Club. Tyler Nelson Racing is especially proud that it's in our Home Town. Olathe, KS.
