*** PRESS RELEASE - SCHEDULE UPDATE ***
US 36 Raceway has invited us back and with such positive feedback from the Drivers, Teams, Car Owners (polled at a previous drivers meeting), and Fans ---- We will be returning to US 36 on September 2nd to make up our April 23rd rain out. Originally, it was uncertain if the rain out would be able to be rescheduled. With this date being produced from Jon Boller we graciously accepted. This event will be a FULL POINTS race.
Additionally, our August 20th race in Salina, KS has unfortunately been cancelled. After discussion with our Salina Speedway promoter -- both Salina and MWRA officials have found due to tire issues and higher fuel prices that this is in the best interest for all parties. We will be looking at dates for a Salina Speedway race in 2023. In the event that we schedule a race in place for the previously scheduled August 20th race, it will be a SHOW UP points event only. Please bare with us -- We are listening to everyone's concerns, as well as doing what is in the best interest for the series.
Keep your eye out as we will be releasing a date for our first annual Drivers Appreciation picnic soon! We appreciate each and every one of you who support the MWRA and cannot wait to have a fun day bench racing with you, your families, and friends.
