Season For MWRA Kickoffs Saturday at Valley!
Grain Valley, Mo: This Saturday night April 6th at Valley Speedway the stars and cars of the Wholesale Batteries USAC MWRA Sprint Car Series invade Grain Valley for the first of six shows in 2024.
In the 5th season of competition for this USAC series the championship will once again be a test of determination, skill, endurance, and good fortune, to crown a champion for 2024.
Valley Speedway has represented for many years the home of non winged sprint cars in the Heartland, while also becoming the home track for the MWRA in 2024 for the first time in series history..
Previously, six races in four years were conducted at Valley Speedway for the MWRA headlined each season by the Helm Memorial during that time. With winners including Wesley Smith (twice) Cody Baker, Kory Schudy, Ricky Lewis, and the X-Man Xavier Doney. While in 2024 that number will be matched in one season, including the Helm Memorial for the 5th time.
Join us this Saturday night when 3-time and defending champion Wyatt Burks of Topeka, Kansas, will once again be a factor, but will have to fight back challengers who will include 2021 title winner Schudy, driving for Jon Sawyer Racing (JSR) 28, Smith behind the wheel of the Lewis Racing machine, Brad Wyatt, Justin Johnson, Junior Parkinson, Dakota Earls, Chad Winfrey, Tom Curran, Doney racing the Doney-Lawson Racing 74, defending POWRi WAR champ Jack Wagner and his brother Samuel Wbr Wagner, Luke Howard, Lance Silvers, Bryson Smith, and Tyler Burton among others.
