Change announced for June 19th and July 29th dates
As announced on last night's episode of Above the Cushion, the official radio show of 81 Speedway, the following changes to the 2021 season have been made.
On Saturday, June 19th the Two-M Motorsports and Machine Rookie modifieds have been removed from the program. With both the ASCS Sooner Region and URSS sprint car divisions on hand, officials with 81 Speedway and FOE Enterprises felt this move will help complete that evenings show in a timely fashion, as well as giving the Rookie Modified division a much needed break after a streak of racing seven weeks in a row.
On Thursday, July 29th the HeyGlassman.com Stock Cars will race instead of the AutoTech Service Center Super Stocks after a mistake in the schedule was discovered and corrected. Per ASCS officials when scheduling the ASCS National Tour Sprint week show, the Chunky Poodle USRA B-Mods and HeyGlassman.com Stock Cars were the requested local divisions due to run that evening along side the Sprint Car series. When the original schedule was released earlier this year, the AutoTech Service Center Super Stocks were on the schedule instead of the Stock Cars. This mistake has been corrected.
