Late Model Racing Western Australia
A huge Season Ahead
The 2024/25 Late Model Racing Western Australia calendar is quite simply one of the biggest ever.
Featuring a thirteen-round Pro Dirt Series, a massive Month of Money with $90k up for grabs, and a highly anticipated Australian Championship on the line, this season features plenty of racing providing a great opportunity for drivers across the country to head over and join our locals to compete for some substantial rewards.
Beginning at the Ellenbrook Speedway with the traditional Ray Tulk Memorial, Pro Dirt Series opener on the 12th of October, the action ramps up quickly with three rounds in as many weekends, rounds two and three back at the Perth Motorplex.
After a short break that will provide teams with plenty of time to plan to travel, the Kalgoorlie International Speedway and Tyres & More Esperance Speedway double header is also back on the calendar as are Bunbury Speedway and Albany Speedway Clubs who will host Pro Dirt shows to welcome in the new year.
The Perth Motorplex, who are celebrating their twenty-fifth anniversary season, will host the WA Title for the ninth time in a row when they hold the event on the 12th of February, in what will also be the penultimate round of the Pro Dirt Series and provide the perfect lead in to the March Month of Money.
With nine shows and a total of $90k on the line, this will be the biggest period of racing ever seen for Late Models in Australia. These shows include an intense five nights of racing in nine days for $75k!
The Australian Late Model Title kicks this off and will be held on the 7th and 8th of March, 2025, with Joe Chalmers looking forward to defending his Australia #1 at his home track.
After the Australian Title, which will see $40,000 up for grabs, will be a special midweek show on the 12th of March that will see $10,000 on the line.
The 9th annual Late Model Nationals will round out the big shows, Rod Musarra set to defend his crown with two nights of racing on the 14th and 15th of March that will see an extra $25,000 up for grabs.
Two weeks later the Pro Dirt Series will crown a champion with the finale on the 29th of March, while the season finishes with the two-night Easter Grand Prix in April at Albany and the Red Dirt Rumble at Kalgoorlie Speedway on the first weekend of May.
This meticulously planned calendar offers teams a perfect blend of intense racing action, strategic breaks, and opportunities for the best drivers to shine. The 2024/25 Late Model Racing season is set to be an unforgettable spectacle for fans and competitors alike!
