In a field of 58 cars on Wednesday as the remainder of the week became World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series sanctioned, Pearson Jr. took part in his heat race but was a scratch from his B-Main.
On Thursday, Earl followed up a fourth-place finish in his heat with a second-place finish in his B-Main. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Earl carried a steady pace throughout the 40-lapper to finish 22nd.
After grabbing the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat race on Friday, Pearson Jr. dropped six spots in the feature to record a 22nd-place outing.
To wrap up the 51st annual DIRTcar Nationals on Saturday, Earl’s fifth-to-second run in his heat race locked his spot into the $10,000-to-win finale. Scoring a Top-10 finish in the 40-lap affair, Pearson Jr. crossed the line in 10th.
