Wilson Tackling World of Outlaws Shows in North Carolina and Indiana

Inside Line Promotions – BRIDGEPORT, N.J. (May 23, 2018) – Greg Wilson has a pair of World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series events on tap during the upcoming holiday weekend.

Wilson and his Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics, DNC Hydraulics and Gear Alloy backed team will compete this Friday at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C., during the Outlaw Showdown before racing on Monday at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Ind., during the Memorial Day Spectacular presented by KOI Auto Parts.

“We always enjoy going to Charlotte,” he said. “It’s a great facility and we’ve had success there. Hopefully we can put together a good result there as well as at Lawrenceburg.”

Wilson charged from 15th to fifth during the spring race at The Dirt Track at Charlotte last year and he was victorious at the oval in 2016.

A track where he’s been successful is a great sight for Wilson, who hasn’t been able to compete for more than a week and a half after all four World of Outlaws shows in Pennsylvania and New Jersey were cancelled between last Wednesday and Tuesday.

“These rainouts are tough on everyone,” he said. “We’re just hoping we can start racing regularly without fighting Mother Nature. On a bright note the time off last week did give us some extra time to work on our program.”

Prior to this weekend’s races Wilson has a Hercules Tires dealership visit Thursday at M&R Retreading and Oil in Norwood, N.C., from noon to 4 p.m.
