World Short Track Championship Next Up for the National Tour

(Eastaboga, AL - October 14th, 2024) - The excitement of the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series is set to make history at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on October 31st through November 2nd, as the series heads to one of the most iconic venues in motorsports for the first time ever. This event marks round 15 of the 2024 season and promises to deliver three days of thrilling competition, as drivers from across the United States converge to battle for glory being called World Short Track Champion.

The Dirt Track at Charlotte, famous for its semi-banked oval and world-class facilities, will play host to some of the best 604 Late Model drivers in the country. Last year’s event drew an impressive 504 entries across 9 divisions, with competitors vying for top honors. Fans can expect a large turnout and equally fierce competition as the best of the best go head-to-head in this year’s highly anticipated race.

The list of past WSTC winners includes some of the biggest names in dirt racing, with South Carolina’s Trent Ivey making headlines in 2023 by becoming only the second driver in the event’s history to win back-to-back WSTC championships. Ivey joins "Downtown" Michael Brown, who won two WSTC crowns in 2018 and 2019, becoming the first-ever driver to do so. Other notable winners include Corey Gordon (2016), Jonathan Davenport (2017), John Ruggiero Jr. (2020), Dillon Brown (2021), and Trent Ivey again (2022-2023).
