Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series Set for Area 51 at 411 Motor Speedway July 15

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (July 9, 2023)- The Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series is set to return to action at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on Saturday July 15 for the track’s 4th Annual Area 51 event, featuring the Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series racing 51 laps for $5,100 to win and $300 to start.

411 Motor Speedway will host an open practice prior to the Area 51 event on Friday July 14. Activities for the open practice on Friday July 15 will see the pit area open at 5:00 p.m. and the open practice will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A pit pass for the open practice will be $20.

The Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series will be in competition at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on Saturday July 15 and will be featured in a full racing program of Denby’s J&J Construction Hot Laps, E-Z-GO Time Trials, Heat Races, Impact Race Gear B-Mains, and the 51 lap, $5,100 to win/$300 to start Area 51 Brucebilt A-Main feature event. Also on the Area 51 racing program at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday July 15 will be the track’s 604 Late Models racing for $1,000 to win, Sportsman racing for $800 to win, Street Stocks racing for $600 to win, Classic Cars racing for $400 to win, Front Wheel Drives racing for $400 to win, and Crown Vics racing for $300 to win. Of note, raceceivers, racing gloves, and racing shoes are mandatory in all classes. 411 Motor Speedway rules apply to local divisions and for tech questions, please call Joe Byrd at (865) 776-1798.

Activities at 411 Motor Speedway for the 4th Annual Area 51 event will see the pit area open at 2:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice laps and time trials to follow at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices for the 4th Annual Area 51 at 411 Motor Speedway in the general admission area will be $10 for adults, while children 12 and under are $5. Pit passes and tier parking will be $30, with children 12 and under $5.

The Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series will sanction the Open Wheel Modified portion of the Area 51 program and the tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier M30s, M60, Medium, Hard; American Racer Hard and Extra Hard (only Hoosier M60, Hard, and American Racer Extra Hard are allowed as right-rear tire options; grooving and siping of tires are allowed per UMP rulebook; UMP 2023 body rules apply; no limit of tires used per night).

Also of note, thanks to the graciousness and generosity of 411 Motor Speedway track promoter Mitch McCarter, there will be NO entry fee for the Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series drivers at the 4th Annual Area 51 event. The Brucebilt Performance Parts Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Southern Series would like to thank Mr. McCarter for this generous gesture and for allowing the series to sanction this event for the second-straight year.
