Super Late Model Tidal Wave 50 This Saturday July 29th

Late Models teams are expected to roll in for one of the biggest Late Model races of the year this Saturday Night. The Tidal Wave 50 billed as the Les Swaffard Classic is a tribute to a man that spent many hours in the pit area and help many race cars with sponsorship throughout the years. Les lost his life in a motorcycle accident just a few short years ago.

Local businesses and area racers have pooled together to make the Tidal Wave 50 part of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series one of the better-paying events in the state of Oregon. Although it is yet to be told whether drivers from across the state will answer the call and show up in force we know the locals will bring their A game and put on a clinic for 50 laps of tough competition.

Also racing on the evening will be the Sportsman Late Models, Street Stocks, Mini Outlaws, and Hornets.

Although this is a bigger paying event, due to the local sponsors we have been able to keep the general admission prices and the racers entry fee at a very reasonable price. When you can please tell Shingle House Auto Salvage, South Coast Construction, and Tom Parry thank you for their contributions to the Tidal Wave 50.
