NHRA Drag Racing Friday Through Sunday May 11-12
Drag racing returns this weekend as we lost the last drag race two weeks ago to the weather. Teams are excited to hit the strip as the weather got the best of them before. Now the sun is scheduled and there are talks of the ability to reach 80 degrees out Sunday. With weather like that race teams are expected to rally their way to the coast for the first Friday Night drags of the year and the continuation of the ET Summit Series both Saturday and Sunday.
Racers can take advantage of free overnight camping through the weekend and are encouraged to come join the daily festivities of drag racing during the day and campfires at night.
Concession and beer will be on tap all three days as you enjoy the sound of thunder with the thrill of speed here at the Coos Bay Speedway.
