Learning Curve
Taking a couple years off, moving up a class, switching tracks and changing chassis' has proved to provide a learning curve for the JWR team. Jack's had 3 outings now at the Londonderry Raceway in his new Rage Jr Champ kart. Driver and team have been working out the kinks and getting the kart set up to the tracks, and the drivers, liking.
Race results, though not stellar, have provided much needed data for the team to make adjustments on the kart in an attempt for better finishes.
The team has raced on two different tire compounds, making getting the feel for the track a little difficult for the driver. The track is very bumpy, and after having driven a car with suspension, a rigid kart on a bumpy track took a little getting used to.
Driver and team are working their hardest to get the best finishes they can and right now are quite pleased with staying with the pack, though contending for the win is certainly on their list of goals.
