West Texas Raceway Added To 2017 ASCS Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek

TULSA, Okla. (January 23, 2017) Expanding the 2017 Lucas Oil ASCS Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek and Bob Westphal Memorial Cup, a facility reborn will see action with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network as West Texas Raceway in Lubbock, Texas as joined the lineup on Friday, June 9, 2017.

Formerly Lady Luck Speedway, the three-eighths Texas oval has been brought back to life with the opening night of competition slated for Friday, April 7, 2017.

Expanding Speedweek to seven nights of competition, the race at West Texas Raceway segues perfectly into Saturday’s return to Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas.

Taking Sunday and Monday to gear up for five straight nights, Speedweek continues with Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas on Tuesday, June 13.

Wednesday, June 14 moves competition to the “Sooner State” with Lawton Speedway in action for a mid-week showdown. Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. follows on Thursday, June 15 before the tour transitions to Missouri for a debut a Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo. on Friday, June 16.

The finale of the 2017 ASCS Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek will take place at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks”, Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday, June 17 in Wheatland, Mo.

A few dates are still being finalized for the series’ 26th year of competition. Further updates on the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network will be announced at http://www.ascsracing.com.
