A WORD FROM THE BEESON FAMILY
WHERE DO I START?… 67 cars showed up to Benton Speedway tonight in 4 classes and showed out in the Inaugural Jeff Beeson SR Memorial Race! I’m not just saying this because it was my Dad’s memorial race that was some of THE BEST Racing that I have seen a Benton in a long time! To the FANS in the Grandstands y’all showed up! Dad was all about the FANS!
Congratulations to you all and thanks for putting on a show for the Fans that Dad would be proud of!
TO THE ENTIRE GROUP OF SPONSORS THAT STEPPED UP TO MAKE THIS EVENT POSSIBLE! I can’t list you all cause I don’t want to forget anyone
Jeana & Dennis Mccoy those trophies were magnificent and each feature winner I personally spoke with expressed so as they told me So!
James Whitesell thank you sir for your flagman duties you did an awesome job even though you didn’t use the black flag haha!
The Staff at Benton Speedway at 10 o’clock this morning we was all scratching our heads hoping… I’ll say it turned out phenomenal!
Last but definitely not least Uncle Keith for the tirelessly never ending phone calls from getting the sponsorships on board, and everything you did to make this roll so smoothly! I know you don’t want no recognition but too bad you were the rockstar here you just had a heck of a band behind you!
I will end this by saying David Shepard & Jeana McCoy pulled a slick one over on me and got the waterworks started early presenting me with a replica of the Street Stock Feature Winners Trophy I will cherish it forever THANK YOU! It was also emotional as I myself believe this MEMORIAL RACE WAS DAD APPROVED!
Thank You EVERYONE! Another moment I shared with my daughter as we was leaving for the night she rolled her window down and said “SEE YOU NEXT YEAR BENTON SPEEDWAY FOR THE NEXT MEMORIAL RACE!”
