New I-35 Speedway sign erected near interstate
By I-35 Speedway PR (Winston, MO) -- A new racetrack sign, seen from miles away on Interstate 35, will direct race fans and motorists to I-35 Speedway for the super fun, super-fast, super-hot racing action at I-35 Speedway that happens on Saturday nights during the racing season. Located just north of the speedway, the sign includes time and temperature and provides the exit information to the racetrack. This is just one of several improvements at the track as we prepare for the 2017 racing season.
Another winter project includes the web site, as we have a new webmaster working on improvements. The rules for 2017 have been updated on the I-35 Speedway website, www.i-35speedway.net. The A Mods, B Mods, and Stock Cars will continue to be USRA sanctioned classes. The E Mods, Pure Stocks, Sport Compacts, and Grand Nationals have been updated. The E Mod and Pure Stock rules are published for the next 3 years. The Grand National class has been opened to allow more competitors to come race.
Remember, the winter drivers meeting will be conducted on January 21, 2017 at the Cameron Community Center, 915 Ashland Drive, Cameron, Missouri starting at 10:00 a.m. This will be your opportunity to renew reserved parking spots, register your drivers, register for USRA sanctioning (if necessary), and obtain printed copies of the rules and schedule. This meeting will be the deadline date for renewing reserved parking spot(s) from the 2016 racing season. Those spots not reserved after the meeting will be open to anyone to reserve.
