Hibner, Turner, Hanes, Bailey shine at I-35 Speedway

It was Triple H Realty night at I-35 Speedway as we all came together to celebrate the legendary Kaster family. One hundred twenty-eight cars checked into the pit area as the last checkered flag flew just before 11:15 pm.

E-mods were first to hit the racetrack for their 12 lap A-feature. Blake Hayes would lead from the drop of the green flag as he cruised to his first feature win of the season at I-35 Speedway. Josh Adkins made it interesting on a late restart but would finish second. Aaron Jones and Adam Dunwoodie would come through traffic together to finish third and fourth respectively, with Andrew Thomas finishing fifth.

Jake Starmer becomes the third Starmer to visit victory lane following in the footsteps of his dad Steve and brother Tyler as he picked up the feature win in the Pure Stocks. Chase Galvan and Evan Rhea ran side by side throughout the race, with Galvan finishing second and Rhea in third. Jon Boller Jr and Tobin Bartlett rounded out the top five in a tightly contested race.

Shayne Bailey picked up feature win #7 of the season in the Midwest Limited Late Models. Paul Glendenning made it interesting to start the feature but would finish second. Ed Noll, Tommy Cordray and Brad Dibben fought hard all race long and would finish third, fourth and fifth respectively.

In USRA B-Mod action, Shadren Turner picks up the win once again. At the end, Ethan Issacs made it interesting, but got a little high coming out of turn 2 as he held on for second. Colin Pierce had a good run finishing in the third spot, followed by Cole Moore and Brayden Bennett.

The Wild Child Nic Hanes picked up feature win #3 of the year in USRA Stock Cars. As Hanes pulled away for the win, the battle behind him was fierce with Chris Mercer, Connor Masoner, Kristchon Hisel and Derrick Brown rounding out the top five.

In USRA Modifieds action, Tyler Hibner picked up his third feature win in a row, fourth for the year, as he battled with Steven Bowers Jr until the end. While trying to chase down Hibner, Bowers would battle side by side with Steven Glenn, as Bowers finished second and Glenn third. Houston Johnson finished fourth with Tyler Grooms right behind him in fifth.

In the Sport Compacts, Chris Lewis would find himself in the right place at the right time as the leader lost a tire with two laps to go, so Lewis would inherit the lead. Newcomer Brad Alshire would have a good run finishing second, followed by Harold Robb Sr, Jason Teel and Jonathan Hartman.

Congratulations to Justice Weinman for winning Fan of the Week sponsored by Anderson-Reed Racing, Shaunie Lanning Racing, Wild Child Nation Racing and BF Racing. Join us next week for Missouri One Call Night where we will be joined by the Show Me Vintage Racers and Midwest Lightning Sprints.
