Excitement Building for Inaugural West Texas Kart Nationals on Oct. 24-25

Inside Line Promotions – LEVELLAND, Texas (Oct. 6, 2014) – There are less than three weeks until the inaugural West Texas Kart Nationals.

Excitement is starting to ramp up for the CMS Promotions event at the Mallet Event Center on Oct. 24-25.

“We are getting more excited every day as we inch closer to the West Texas Kart Nationals,” CMS Promotions Founder Leighton Crouch said. “There will be a lot of stout racing during those couple of days inside the Mallet Event Center.”

More than a dozen go-kart classes will compete on the indoor dirt track for a purse totaling $21,000. The classes include: open outlaw, 250 outlaw, 125 outlaw, flat adult clone, flatstock med flatheads, RWYB flat, modified animal, flat stock animal, stock animal, stock animal gold, flat jr. 3 gold, jr. 3 outlaw clone, jr. 2 clone, jr. 1 clone, 6.5 pure stock intek, 3.5hp beginner and young gun beginner.

“There will be a good mix of new drivers along with some veterans competing,” Crouch said. “We expect to have quite a few cars in every class. I think this will become an event to build on every year.”

Crouch said he hopes the West Texas Kart Nationals will expand exponentially to the point it becomes an event like the Tulsa Shootout or the Chili Bowl.

“Sprint cars, midgets, micros and all types of race cars have special annual events that people plan on attending every year,” he said. “My hope is that the West Texas Kart Nationals will develop into that type of a marquee event for the kids who race go-karts.”

REGISTRATION –

Drivers who pre-enter will pay $125 to compete in the West Texas Kart Nationals, which includes two-day entry for the driver and kart as well as the transponder and scoring fees.

Also, indoor pit stalls are available to rent for $20 per day and RV parking is available for $30 per day.
