Assembly Products Shoot Out Headlines Dells Late Model Season

As the Dells Raceway Park 2020 Season schedule takes shape; one race on Saturday July 25 th will surely stand out as the primer event in the Midwest for the weekly UMA Late Model division and that event is the $5000 to win Assembly Products Shootout. The UMA Late Models will take center stage in a 75 lap
5k to win Shootout. Assembly Products CEO Ed Szelagowski Sr. said he wanted to create a higher level of excitement for drivers & fans alike. The Assembly Products Shootout is a mid-summer special event and will not be part of the weekly late model season points race, however; Szelagowski Sr. who is a
huge fan of the UMA weekly late models also noted Assembly Products will pay a $1000 bonus for any driver finishing first, second or third in the 75 lap event who has competed in 80% of the DRP weekly late model shows leading up the July 25th Shootout; which will make the Assembly Products Shootout an unprecedented $6,000 to win and attract a showcase of talent from around the Midwest for what is sure to be a great night of racing along with the UMA Modifieds and INEX Legend cars.
On top of all the racing action, in an effort for a full day of entertainment for fans & drivers, Assembly Products CEO Ed Szelagowski Sr. has booked the band UnXpected to perform two 90 minute shows. The first begins before drivers practice from 2-3:30pm and the second performance to begin after the 75 lap
feature event. The UnXpected is one of the best explosive cover bands in Milwaukee. They play classic hits from artist like John Melloncamp, AC/DC, Van Morrison, The Charlie Daniels Band, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Cheap Trick and much more. UnXpected has been performing throughout Wisconsin for over 20 years and played premier venues like, Summerfest and Wisconsin State Fair. They have opened for REO Speedwagon and Jefferson Starship and their style is one of high energy, crowd interaction and excitement. The night begins with UnXected first performance at 2:30 with Qualifying at the 1/3-mile oval in Central Wisconsin will take place at 4:30 p.m. CT and racing will begin at 6:00 p.m. CT.Admission will be just $15
for adults 18+, $10 for seniors/students/military, and kids 12 and under are free.
