BIRDSILL WINS A THRILLER IN DRP SPORTSMAN
Wisconsin Dells WI 8/27/22-Brandon Birdsill wins a late season thriller on Fan Appreciation Night. John Zuch and Cody Potter brought a stacked field of D&C Transpotation UMA Sportman to the line for their 25 lap Main event. Potter would grab the early lead and try to leave the field. Mitch Lyden would charge through to try to track Potter down but the 57 proved to have a fast Hotrod and maintained a large gap. Brandon Birdsill and Dave Trute would quickly move through the field from their 6th row starting spots. They would get to 2nd and 3rd and go to work tracking down the rookie at the point. Birdsill would be first to reach Potter. The two would battle to the finish with Birdsill coming out on top at the line by less than a car length. Potter would come home second followed closely by Dave Trute,Mitch Lyden and Bobby Giers. Andrew Borntreger was the winner of the D&C Transportation Fast Dash with Cody Potter winning the heat race. Only one night remains for the D&C Transportation UMA Sportsman on the 2022 season. Championship night takes place September 10th. Brandon Birdsill finds himself the points leader with a 59 point lead on Bobby Giers. Anything can happen especially with Championship night offering double points… you just GOTTA be there!
