JACOB TIEGEN TALLIES SECOND WIN IN DRP GNL INEX LEGENDS

Marion Iowa’s Jacob Tiegen tallies win number 2 at DRP on Quality Freight Rate Night at the Races. Blake Haynes and Eric Niemi brought a stacked GNL INEX Legend Field to the green for their 25 lap feature to end the night. As is per usual with these cars the field fanned out into an all-out war into turn one. Haynes would grab the initial lead only to fall into the clutches of Rose Borntreger. She would make quick work of the 9 and lead the field for most of the race. The power house freight train led by Jacob Tiegen would climb through the field utilizing multiple lanes and strategy until it was a 5 car race. Borntreger was up to the task as she fought tooth and nail with all challengers. After a late race caution for a multi car spin off of turn 2 the stage was set for a great 4 lap shootout. Borntreger and Tiegen brought a fierce group of racers to the green with Tiegen finally able to dispatch the young lady who put up the fight of the night. Ayrton Brockhouse would bring one more challenge to Tiegen but the 7 was equal to the task as he would take the win over Brockhouse, Borntreger, Dylan Schwanbeck and Tyler Ledbetter. Aaron “Boomer” Olson brought home fast time with a lap of 15.459. The B Feature would see Ava Hansen take the win she and Coty Gular would transfer to the A Main. The fast Dash was won by Tyler Ledbetter the heat races were won by Ava Hanssen and Rose Borntreger. The GNL INEX Legends will return to DRP as part of the Trickle 99 Alive for 5 race on June 24th.
