TIEGEN PUNCHES TICKET TO VEGAS WITH INEX REGIONAL WIN

Wisconsin Dells WI-Marion, Iowa’s Jacob Tiegen punched his ticket to Vegas and the INEX Asphalt Nationals with a Regional Qualifier win in Chasing Daylight Animal Shelter’s Make up GNL INEX Legends Feature. Rose Borntreger and Mark Anderson Jr. would bring the stacked 22 car feature field to the line. As is customary in the high intensity race class the field immediately bursted into 2 and 3 wide battles. Bornteger and Anderson would swap the lead in the initial going until lap 6 when Ayrton Brockhouse would come forward to challenge for the lead. He would gain the top spot as racers from 5 different states battled for the coveted INEX national points. Current points Leader Jacob Tiegen would battle from his 8th starting spot to challenge the 12 of Brockhouse for the lead just past the halfway point . As strong as the youngest Brockhouse was he was no Match for the 7 of Tiegen as he would take the lead with 10 laps to go and never look back. Tiegen was followed to the line by Brockhouse, Mark Anderson Jr., Arron Olson and Darrell Stewart. The GNL Inex Legends return to DRP as part of the Badger State 125 Alive For 5 race on August 12th.
