Fort Randall Casino sponsors MSTS Double Down Showdown
Fort Randall Casino and Hotel has joined Wagner Speedway as title sponsor a two-night show featuring the Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series. Wagner Speedway presents the inaugural "Fort Randall Casino Double Down Showdown" July 6-7.
The weekend of racing will begin Friday, July 6 with MSTS and Nebraska 360 Sprints, IMCA Race Saver 305 Sprints, along with Late Models and B-Modifieds. Gates open at 5 p.m., hot laps at 7 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m.
MSTS and Nebraska 360 Sprints are back on July 7 with IMCA Race Saver 305 Sprints and will be joined by the T & R Contracting Late Model Street Stock Touring Series, Hobby Stocks and B-Buzzer front wheel drives. Saturday night’s program will open the gates at 4 p.m., hot laps at 6 and racing at 7.
When both classes of sprint cars get ready for the redraw each night, it won't be your typical redraw. A card dealer from Fort Randall Casino will be on the front stretch for a card game to determine the starting order for the top eight in each sprint car division.
Fort Randall Casino and Hotel will welcome race fans to stay with them Friday night and enjoy delicious food, your favorite beverage and top-notch live entertainment in the lounge. Saturday will feature a meet and greet and car show in the casino parking lot that afternoon before they head to the track for night number two.
